July 16, 2000: The Italy page is more or less finished for now. When Cassandra and Derek get back to Canada, they have promised me some pictures so I will add more then but that probably won't happen for another couple weeks. I'll keep you posted here when that happens so watch this space!

July 6, 2000: I guess you may have noticed that the site was down for most of the weekend. It seems there was a large electrical storm on Friday and the computer was left powerless. Add to that the fact that my network administrator in charge of power was on holiday for the weekend, the site wound up being down for several days. It happens, I guess. The site is back up now and should stay up until the next big storm.

This is the new index page for all of my trip and life in England photos. I'll try to put some of the best pictures here as well as keep every one up to date on where I'm going and what I'm doing. Each of the pictures below is a hyperlink. Just click on them to go to the corresponding picture list.

May 6: My first trip into London.

I wasn't sure where to go on this trip so I wondered around on the tube (subway) and managed to find a few interestingsites on the way. I found the parliament buildings, Trafalgar square, the London eye, I saw the Tate modern from a distance, and Picadilly Circus. The picture below is from one of the business districts in downtown London.

May 13: My second trip into London.

I knew a little bit better what I wanted to do this time and where I wanted to go. I must admit that I'm not a very good tourist, however. I made it to the Tower of London, but it was lined up so I took a picture of the outside and didn't go in. I also got a picture of the London bridge from a distance. Then I decided that I needed to do some shopping so I headed for soho. On the way I discovered the London Monument, went inside the Tate Modern, and a few other nice sites.

May 14: A walking tour of Harlow.

On the next day I decided to take a few picures of my more immediate environment. They are mostly pictures of old Harlow and the surrounding countryside.

May 27-29: Geneva Switzerland
